My Grandmother would always say to me as a young girl everything would come out in the wash. Of course at the time I did not understand it then, yet as I got older it all started to make sense. Everything coming out in the wash reminds us that when we give things time and allow the truth to separate from the untruth, we can see the situation clearly.
Wisdom Can Be Simple
Let's make this concept relevant to our current situations. Waiting can be viewed as wasting time or demonstrating patience. Practical thinking on this matter indicates that it varies. There are two schools of thought on waiting. However, if we want to become better at being in touch with our emotional intelligence IQ (EQ), we want to apply a simple math question to determine the choice between "Am I wasting time?" or "Am I exhibiting patience?" Ask yourself, "Have I done what I can to increase my odds at getting the outcome I desire?" Use your probability as you respond. Once you have determined that you have indeed done what you can, then I suggest you wait and demonstrate patience.
